Darfur Walk and Rally, Friday, 8/28 at 4:00 PM. Walk from Shasta County Court House to the Redding City Hall. Rally to bring Security, Peace, and Justice to the people of Darfur begins at 5:00 and features Mohamed Suleiman and Martina Knee of the San Francisco Bay Area Coaliton for Darfur and music by Greg Lawson. Interfaith Prayer Vigil for Darfur on the Sundial Bridge, Friday, 8/28 at 7:00 PM. Meet at the north end of the bridge for a Prayer Circle and then move onto the bridge for five minutes of prayer and/or meditation. No Charge, all ages.
